Welcome along with us the lovely Alison (no, not our Allison, a new one!) of Scotland to the photo blog today. Originally from London, Alison says that since her arrival in Scotland she has been fascinated by the beautiful countryside and historic ruins. And really, who could blame her?

Alison shoots with a Canon Powershot A720IS. She is also the sister of recent guest Chris Lodge (link on the sidebar) More of her work can be found at her blog Beloved Eleanor.

We thank her for her interest in sharing her work in this venue and her patience in getting a date settled for publishing her piece!

  2. This is a lovely image! I like how you didn’t shoot directly under the dome but off to the side a bit. Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope there is more to come.

  5. She uses the same camera I do; I guess there’s hope for me.

Love the angle on this shot.
