  1. Come on over to Bonnie’s Books (http://bonniesbooks.blogspot.com/2008/02/awards-ceremony-dress-appropriately.html), both of you. Dress up because I’m having an awards ceremony complete with gala. And do bring along your acceptance speech, though the producers are asking that each person receiving an award please limit your speech to five minutes … save your longer comments for your own blog(s), when you pass along the award(s) … and the two are welcome to put the awards both here on this blog and on your personal blogs.

  3. The original American WHAT? However, aside from that mystery, that is a terrific shot. Terrific greys and the vase is perfect.

Thank you kindly. I don’t know what the original bit is either… ~jenn

  4. what is that?

That, friend, is a random piece of trash left behind on the boardwalk at Scheveningen. Specifically, tucked in behind one of the statues at the sculpture park. I was completely intrigued since it is one, clearly trash, and two, clearly a knock off of a cola light can. I laughed out loud over the whole “original american…” blah blah blah of the label. ~jenn

  5. I love when things are Americanized like that. Or made to reflect any culture – McDonald’s is trying to sell itself as “French” now – ROFLMAO
