A note of explanation - this is a clock in the US Congress. When the floor is open for votes, clocks throughout the various offices in different buildings have lights that show how many minutes are left to vote.
I like the muted color composition with the varied whites in this one. But really? Someone needs to slap some paint on the walls of the congress. It’s a bit boring…

I see these all the time and I still haven’t figured out how they work exactly. And most people I know seem to ignore them. Still confused.
